"Reading Layout" View

How do I get rid of the very annoying "Reading Layout" View whenever I open
an attachement!?!

What kind of attachment? I know Word has a reading layout, but then that
would be a Word issue, not Outlook. What version of Outlook?

In Word 2003, click on Tools | Options | General tab | uncheck the
"Allow starting in Reading Layout" box | OK.
