Reading emails from a desktop and laptop

Hi guys.
At work I have a desktop and use Outlook for my email traffic.
Also use Outlook at home on my laptop however the emails I open at home do
not apear on the desktop computer at work the following morning.
Any ideas how I can get around this?
No networks or severs. Two seperate computers with my email config on both.

Assuming that you use a POP/SMTP account, configure both accounts to
"Leave a copy of your messages on the server".
