Read Only Restriction for Multiple Users

I have created tables, queries, macros in a database and when another user
tries to work in the database, the objects are read-only and cannot be
updated. Also, the macros will not run for other users. The read-only message
pops up. I put no restrictions on any of the work I have done. What is
causing this and how can it be corrected?

Hello. I have the same problem. I have read many questions in several areas
and there doesn't seem to be anyone responding with answers. If I hear of
any good resolutions I will let you know. It seems to be a new problem with
Access 2003.

1. Your structure needs to be Front End / Back-end if there are multiple
users.....each user should have their own copy of the front-end on their
PC...is that what you have?
2. The back-end is normally on a network server..if so, any network
permissions/restrictions apply and can cause the read only issue...check
your network admins.
