Read Only access to linked table

I want to make a linked Access table read-only in the Access DB I am linking
it to. I don't see any obvious way to do this.

You can give Read Data permission on the table in the backend. Then, even if you give full permissions on the linked table in the frontend, they'll still be restricted to Read Only.
