Re-sizing the Excell window

For some reason I cannot re-size the Excel window on the desktop. I cannot
click and drag any border to resize the Excel window. I often need to see
two or more programs side by side (including Excel) to accomplish the task I
am performing. I can minimize the Excel window but not resize it to less
than the full screen. Is there some option or setting that controls this?

Any chance that the title bar is just off the screen.

If yes, then try riihtclickin on the xl icon in the taskbar,
select Move
use the arrow keys to move the window down until you can see the title bar
hit enter to anchor it.

Right Click Task Bar > Select Cascade Windows
(Arrange Windows/Panes)
I hope it can work.
(I do not know exact English Windows' terminology or name in English,
as I am using another Language version of Windows)
