RE OPENING SAVED PROJECT ON MOVIE MAKER

When I am done with a project file in Movie Maker and it is "supposed" to be
saved, I CANNOT re open the project file saved in my Video even though it
shows under the movie maker video icon with the title I assigned to it.
Halfway through opening the project, I get the hourglass in OPEN PROJECT
tile, and a message appears stating
Windows Movie Maker has encountered a problem and needs to close.

I have sent the error report several times to no avail.

Not being able to retrieve my saved project sends me back to the drawing
board again and again. I have tried saving to CD, Hard Drive, Computer: no
dice.
Has anyone found a solution? I am so frustrated I want to shoot my computer.

Oh my gawd, I am having the same problem. I can open the movie I had that is
older but I added more to it yesterday and finished it but now it wont even
open..I am so upset! Help us someone! PLEASE! lol
