Re-naming system folders, and disabling MRU lists

I want to change the name of my recycle bin on my desktop. I did this
easily on another version of XP, but I cant find that option on this version
of XP/pro. I think it's an '02 or '03 version.
I also want to disable as many MRU logfiles as possible. I never use them
and see no other use for them other than to clutter up my hard drive. My
ad-aware always picks up a slew of them as "low risk" every time I run a scan
and I dont need them.
