Re-installing XP Pro from CD - EULA problem

My laptop came with a partition containing the XP opreating system
setup files which I used to make a CD in case of hard drive failure.
This is a registered/legitimate copy of Windows. After a system crash,
I tried to repair using the CD but get the error message:
"Setup cannot find the End User Licensing Agreement (EULA). Setup
cannot continue." Is there a way to rectify this problem?

TIA

BTW, the repair went fine with the version from the hidden partition.

Greetings --

You'll probably have to ask this question of the laptop's
manufacturer. It could have been a bad CD burn, or there could be
something wrong with whatever tools/utilities the OEM provided to
create the CD.
