How do I insert the value of PI ( 3.1415927 ) into a "Paste

Foumula" Product window? I have a series of circles with radius
measured in feet. I need to calcualte gallons of paint to cover
the areas.

I want to set up a table with radius in one column and

corresponding gallons in the other.

I know how to set up the formula, and I know I can enter the

value of PI as 3.1414927 in the formula...

but why isn't there a simple way to type in "PI" or "pi" or

something instead of the 15 digets ?

( Yes I know all about meaningful decimal values and

rounding.... but there should be an easy way to enter the value
of "pi" into an Excel formula)
