RDP and support for more than 256 colors in Win2000

On the Win2000 server you can run: Terminal service client creator.
You can make a choice for 256 colors or 32(?)-bit X86 support.

When you use the 32-bit option and install the floppies on the PC you
still can not use 32-(or 16-)bit colors on RDP for Win2000.

Why is this option available for creating the client when you still do
not get more than 256 colors ??

In previous postings the possibility for more than 256 colors is being
denied, although it seems that a customer has succeeded in using more
than 256 colors.

Therefore i am really interested to learn how this may be possible.

Thanks for your valuable inputs.
