hi.
i have a vpn connection from an xp pro workstation to a w2k3 server. most of
the time, it works just fine. every other day, however, the vpn connection
attempt fails. in eventlog, a rasman error 20209 is logged. basically, it
says, i need to reconfigure the router/firewalls to accept port 47 traffic.
(if the connection is retried at a later time, it just works fine.)
well, the connection works almost allways, so it seems the firewall on the
client is 'normally' configured correctly. there is no firewall on the
server.
any ideas what might be causing this?
