Randomizing answers in a PP Quiz

B

BryanM

I am trying to randomize the answers in a PP quiz. I want to keep the
same questions in the same order as I have them set up in the show
right now. What I would like is to have the wrong answers swapped out
with other wrong answers and the order of the answers changed when they
go through the quiz again.

For instance, one time the slide will read:

What is the captial of Minnesota?
A) Minneapolis
B) Madison
C) St. Paul

the correct answer is "C"

The next time I would like the slide to read

What is the captial of Minnesota?
A) St. Peter
B) St. Paul
C) Bismark

I hope this makes sense. Does anyone know a code that will allow me to
do this?

Thank you,
Bryan

P.S. - I am using pp 2003

there is no way to do this in ppt as far as I know, but you can try
some quiz tools, make a flash quiz, and insert the flash to the
presentation. Or, just convert the presentation to flash one. it will
keep the question in the same order, but randomize the answers every
time they go through the quiz again. And, it requires no programming.

Articulate QuizMaker is a good choice, but the price is costful, $399.
Wondershare QuizCreator is another alternative, costs only $99.95. if
you need graded quiz only, the later is a better choice, because of the
low price. the first can create surveys besides graded quizzes.

you can visit their products websites for more details.
Articulate: http:// www.articulate.com
Wondershare: http://www.sameshow.com

hope this helps

best wishes

This is definitely doable with VBA, but it will require some intermediate
level programming. I have some examples that use some randomness on my
site but nothing that does what you want.
