Random Shutdowms

B

Bob

Within the last couple of months, as I use Internet
Explorer, the program will shut down without notice, and
with no particular action on my part. When it shuts down,
I get a message to the effect: "iexplore.exe has created
an error and is shutting down. You will need to restart
the program". With that, a couple of seconds later, I am
dropped off of the Internet. Sometimes it sort of locks
up, at which point I hit Cont + Alt + Del and it says the
program is debugging...please wait...so I do, and it
finally shuts down, only to happen again later.

Has anybody experienced this? I've downloaded all the
software upgrades, but still have the problem.

Help???

Thanks, Bob

IE 6.

Try this: Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Browsing
Uncheck the Enable 3rd party browser extensions

If this clears your problem then find out who the culprit is with these
tools.

Let AD-Aware Scan your system for advertising Spyware

p.s Reset the 3rd party browser setting.
