I am running Windows XP Media Center and recently had to completely erase my
HDD and reformat due to random restarts and errors that eventually led me to
no being able to use my OS at all.

Now iv after the reformat i am experiencing similar errors and looking for a
fix before i get the results as before

after the random restarts iv been getting this error:

BCCode : 1000008e BCP1 : C0000005 BCP2 : BF9C6F0F BCP3 : AB30EC68

9 out of 10 random reboots I've seen has been related to memory:
Poor contacts, bad chips, wrong speed, wrong type.

Had a big IBM XEON server that would restart. Finally, I removed the Kingston
ECC chips (IBM perfect matches) and installed IBM ECC and never had another
problem

Please set you newsgroup software to include the original document in your reply. That way we can
follow what you are referring to. Because English is not your native language, your message is not
clear.
Have you tried finding a WindowsXP news group in your native language? There you would get better
answers.
Also, try to give as much detail as to what the problem does and what exactly you have tried to fix
it.

I am assuming that when you say re-download, you mean reinstall (you cannot download windows
software).
After a new install (from the CD) it worked for only a few minutes?
Does it then just shut-down?
Do you get any error messages?

Actually your best option is most likely going to be to get help from a repair shop.
