Random Deactivations?

So, I've gone through extensive troubleshooting, both on my own, and with
Microsoft reps, and the problem still seems to be happening. The problem is
that every now and then, windows has gotten into the habit of deactivating
itself when I restart my computer. I'll do a restart, and windows will come
up with the window requiring me to activate or I can't use windows. No
activation methods would work at all, online methods would result in error
codes, new product keys came up with error codes.. even the phone method
wouldnt' provide me an installation ID to use. Eventually we decided to do a
reinstall on windows, not a clean install, and so far, the only thing that it
has fixed, is I can now get an installation ID from the phone method, and
reactivate windows that way, but still, every now and then, it will still
deactivate itself for no apparent reason. Following is results of the
diagnostic tool..

anyways for some reason.. does anyone have any ideas? any help would be
appreciated, I'm getting really tired of reactivating over the phone .. Thanks

I'm experiencing a similar issue...

I just bought a new HP Quad-Core System (Model M8120N) and moving some of my
hardware (keyboard, USB drive, external hard drive, over).... But my system
wants to deactivate right now about every 6 hours...

Its a very frustrating issue seeing how I've only had the product less than
2 days, I'm spending more time with Microsoft to get the keys settled...

I basically bought a Vista Ultimate Upgrade from Microsoft using the anytime
upgrade and was able to register it online sucessfully once... After doing
some of the hardware components, it noticed that it changed and now won't
activate online anymore saying in layman's terms that the product key has
been soiled and registered to another device and that I need to buy a new
product key... So upsetting seeing how I have a legit license that was
supposedly downloaded electronically thorugh Microsoft via the anytime
upgrade system!

I feel your pain and hoping others can share work around solutions!

Problem for me, however, is that this is no longer a just a hardware thing,
if it ever was. I've done clean installations and teh whole bit, more than
once, and it still just randomly deactivates itself, most noticeably on
restart, but it has once popped up while i was just using the computer. so
i've basically given up, because microsoft seems to have given up on me,
every time itry to talk to someone, i get someone new, even when asking for
the same person. so i have to explain teh situation again, and they do the
basic problem solving steps.. again.. and i never get any further, so i dont'
care anymore, i'll just keep doing these stupid phone activations, it seems
to generally work that way for a few days at a time..

Not that this is necessarily the problem, but it may be an issue with
finding another activation key on one of the external disks. Just an idea.
