radians to degrees

James

Can I change my worksheet to use degrees instead of
radians? I am trying to get my sin and cos functions to
read in degrees instead of radians. For example, I type
in sin(29.3) and it is giving me -.85506 but I want it to
give me .489382. I know I can type in sin(radians(29.3))
and it will give me .489382 but I have a bunch of sin and
cos functions in my sheet and don't want to have to add
the word radians to each one. Thanks for the help.

Hi James,
You cannot throw a switch as on a calculator.
You could enter =PI()/180 in a blank cell, copy it, select all the degree
values and use Paste Special Multiply.
Best wishes

You could use find and replace - it would have done your whole sheet
in less time than you spent posting your question!! <grin>

Why do yourself what the computer can do for you?
