QuickTime plays mp3s in IE6...how to make it stop...

When I click on a .mp3 link from a website QuickTime has been associtated as
the default player for them. Is there anyway I can change this behaviour?
I would much prefer to have WinAmp handle mp3's or just the pop-up that
allows you to save/download the file. The file association for the OS (ie
Windows Explorer) are ok, meaning WinAmp is the default media player.

Hi Robear,

This problem only occurs within IE, the shift+right-click has no effect
within IE. IE must have it's own internal file associations. If I'm just
playing mp3's locally (ie using Explorer to launch them) the associations
are fine.

in quicktime file associations in edit, preferences and
choose the file associations then check them to play in the
ie settings or else the system might ask

Perform the Shift+Right-click re-association on an MP3 file already saved to
your hard-drive. Afterwards the re-association should "stick".

Unfortunately it didn't help.

I finally figured it out...
In the browser-plug | MIME settings for QuickTime the MPEG audio file has to
be unchecked. I was originally looking in the MP3 section.
