Quicklaunch Toolbar

I was wondering if anyone else is having problems moving their quicklaunch
tool bar to any place. I want to move it from the bottom of the screen to
the side, vertically. I use to be able to do this in XP but am using Vista
Home Premium now. Any help would be appreciated!

A description of how to move it is in Windows Help. Make sure you right
click on the toolbar and unlock it first. Other than that it moves as it did
in XP. Make sure your mouse is all the way into one of the four edges of the
desktop before you release the "drag".

If you mean to detach it from the main toolbar, my understanding is that can
no longer be done.
I never did it in XP, so I'm not familiar with the process. But that issue
has been discussed here before.

You can move the entire Taskbar but not the Quicklaunch toolbar itself.

dragging toolbars out of taskbar cannot be done, for now

reason was too many people lost their way dragging them out without noticing
and getting scared about how to put them inside again (i assure you its
true)

make a new toolbar e.g. dragging a folder to the very edge of the screen,
then right click on it to choose any other toolbar you want to put there
(including of course the quicklaunch), then right click on the name of the
first one (the folder dragged) and close it, done
