Every time I reboot the CPU or turn it off and back on again, the Quick
Launch in the Taskbar is turned off. This happens even after I turn it back
on prior to rebooting.
The problem is not what is mentioned below:
The the string
at "Userinit" at the location
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows
NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon] DOES NOT SAY "C:\WINDOWS\System32
\wsaupdater.exe," It says "C:\WINDOWS\System32\userinit.exe," , as it should.
I do have the following: C:\Documents and Settings\<user name>\Application
Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch .......so there is no problem
here.
What is happening that is making the quick launch settings to not be
retained? I would greatly appreciate help with this matter.
Thanks,
Maurice
