TD found the plug with mains adaptor after hunting from your link.
But as the cable is the same my Dad must have the adaptor somewhere?
Some hunting is required when I see them later today, but on the right track!:D

Any Socket charger is usually enough mate. It's the plug hat fits into camera which maybe tricky.

Most AC to DC USB charger have an output current of at least 5v@ 100mA for the likes of mobile phones and bluetooth devices etc. The likes of Tablet chargers have at least an output current of 2amps (2000mA) @ 5v

Again finding a USB to the appropriate plug for your camera if you don't have one could be an issue If you have lost it? What camera is is?

Amazon do the Nilkon charger set for £7.99 so might go with the offical kit.

But Currys do a plug with surge protector and 2 USB sockets for £9.99.
This one might be for me, but not my Dad!!

If you're desperate buy a 4 way plug board with USB sockets in it, readily available at Argos, B & Q and probably also Maplins. It will cost you a bit more than a standalone USB charger but as I said, if you're desperate...

Otherwise, CPC, Ebay and Uncle Tom Cobley and all.

EDIT: I see you've covered the plubboard angle - oops. Tightwad :p
