hello

I'm facing a problem with microsoft excel .

I have a sheet with more than a thousand numbers, and every 10 numbers are written in a cell. I need to have each number in a cell alone and I don't have any idea about that. the ten numbers have to appear next to each other not in the same cell but in 10 different cells.
If anyone knows how to do that i'd really appreciate your help.

thank you very much

How are the 10 numbers in the cell separated so that you can read them as 10 numbers? Do you use commas, spaces, or what?

RE: Combine or split the contents of cells

Use the "Text to Columns" function.

In Excel 2007, this function can be found on the Data ribbon, Data Tools, Text to Columns.

In Excel 2003, this function can be found in the Table toolbar (Convert, Text to Columns).

Alternatively, you could obtain step-by-step instructions for the version of Excel you are using by going to the Help section in Excel and typing "text to columns" or split cells.
