Question on Restore Points

I have several questions about Restore Points.

Question #1: I have two 40 gig hard drives, each has two partions. HD 1:
Drive C and Drive D. HD 2: Drive H and Drive I. My OS is on Drive C. It
is advisable to disable the Restore Points on D, H, and I, since they do not
have an OS on them?

Question #2: In the above setup, Drive C is a partition that is about
20gigs. Does this mean that if I set Restore Points to 10% on that drive
(partition), that Retore Points will continue to make various Restore Points
until all 10% of the drive is used up? Does it then start removing the
oldest Points to make room for newer Points?

Question #3: Is 10% too much for a 20 gig hard drive?

Question #4: Is 10% too much for a 40 gig hard drive?

Thanks for the help and please pardon my lack of knowledge on this subject.

Probably not.

Question #4: Is 10% too much for a 40 gig hard drive?

Probably.

As far as I'm concerned, it shouldn't be a matter of percentages,
but of the number of restore points you keep. I have about 2GB
devoted to this. That gives me about 22 restore points. It's
highly unlikely that I would ever want to go back any further
than that.

SR is only concerned about system and programs, not data. You might as
well have it off on a partition that only holds data.

Yes. It also drops points after 90 days, but if you are on the regular
daily automatic point they will not survive that long anyway. SR is
essentially a short term facility - say up to three weeks,

More than I would use; I suggest under 1GB and actually use 500 MB for

Question #4: Is 10% too much for a 40 gig hard drive?

At that it may be getting to the level where it tangles itself up, and I
would cut it down
