question on naming

I have a folder called "Mike", it's located in the
following directory: C:\Documents and Settings in and
everytime I try to change it it gives me an error:

"Rename
Mike is a Windows system folder and is required for
Windows to run properly. It cannot be moved or renamed."

How do I change it? Somebody told me I needed to change
it from the User Accounts but the folder will still be
there and required bit of work to do so. Any suggestions?
I really need help.

What are you trying to do?
Windows creates one of these subdirectories off "c:\documents and settings"
for each user on the system. So don't try to change its name.
Go to Control Panel and run the User Accounts applet and look at the options
there. If you want to change the user names you can do it there.

Yes, though changing the name in User Accounts will not change the name of
the folder (in my experience).

When I first logged on to my new PC, and was prompted to enter a user name,
I entered "my_name". Later I used User Accounts to change this to "Richard",
but the folder name remained "my_name", and the user name is still shown as
"my_name" in certain situations (I can't remember which).
