Question about restoring windows back to stock settings.

I have an older compaq presario m2000 running windows XP. I lost my sstem
restore disk (very unfortunate). Is there somewhere I can download this
program to run on my computer or am I pretty much screwed?

Contact HP Support (and don't set your hopes very high).

Lots of Compaqs had a restore partition on the hard drive that you can use
to restore a system. If yours does not, write to HP support and ask for a
replacement CD.

Check with Compaq and ask for a
copy of the restore disk for your model.
