Querying Linked Tables with more than 255 fields

I report against data warehouse tables in UDB format using links in an Access
database. Several of the UDB tables have more than 255 fields. Access only
allows me to see 255 of the fields when I view the design of the linked table.

Assuming that I have no access to modify the UDB tables, are there any
alternatives to allow me to view/reports against ALL of the fields defined in
UDB?

Would a Pass-Through query be an option ?

Why don't you try it and let us know? I assume it would, but I have no
tables with more than 255 fields to test it against. When I say that of
course I'm assuming that your PT query will not try to pull in all of the
fields. A "SELECT * ..." will have the same problem as the link.
