Query

Hello, need help! I set up a query for serial numbers for items. I can get
the query to show all items but not how I want it to. I am trying to make all
the records in a row and bring up the serial number for each item an
individual is assiged. When I complete it it will only bring up the items if
every one has that item but not everone is assigned like items. Sounds
confusing..... Ok I have about 110 individuals and each person is assigned at
leat 4 items and some 5 or six. How can I get the query to show six items for
everyone but as blank spaces if they do not have all the items.

I'm not sure I'm completely following your description...

Have you looked into using a crosstab query?

Hmmmmm........ OK well let's try again I have 10 Items and 100 people have
some or all items...... but when I query it only the people with all the
items shows tring to get all the people to show and just leave blank spaces
under the items they do not have...... Haven't tried a crosstab beacuse it
says it would only allow 3 items. I am pretty new to Access but everyone says
I am a genius been wrkin with it about a week now and thinkin I am pretty
good for not knowin anything....... But lets assume I am using excel on the
top would have name-item1-Item2 and so on.....beneath it would be well you
understand i am sure....Tried "and/or" but it didn't work think I am gettin
confused.......

I'm not aware of a 'three-item limit' on Access cross-tab queries. Take
another look...
