Query on Easy Cleaner

Does Easy Cleaner check through the software section of the Registry?
I have just used it and it found about 10 items all of which were related to
the patch installations leaving temp references. A few non existent system
files were listed as well.
There is a software listed in the User account which I don't recognize but
Easy Cleaner did not collect any software entries.
The Jv16 tools found this software listing before it expired in the new
year.
