Query about SpyBot 1.2

If I remember correctly, when I downloaded SpyBot 1.2 I didn't (or
couldn't) use SpyBot to do the download itself.

I installed over the top of the earlier version and clicking on
'Help' then 'About' confirms I now have the 1.2 version.

When I used the same download file to do a fresh installation on a
friend's laptop I found the skin had changed from the old 'grey' type
to one more like that of ad-aware.

Also, when I clicked on 'Immunize' on the laptop I found options such
as 'Lock IE Start Page' were no longer available. Do these options
appear somewhere else when doing a new install?

Spybot 1.2 installs with 2 modes, advanced and easy. If you run it in easy
mode, some options will not be available including those you mentioned.

(Start > Programs > Spybot S & D > Spybot Advanced Mode & Spybot Easy Mode)

When I went Start > Programs > Etc., I found the link only pointed to
"Spybot 1.1" so I think I'll do an uninstall/reinstall (and hopefully
not make a hash of it).
