qttask error message

i continue to get this a error message everytime i use the quicktime program,
cb8:qttask.exe-no disk There is no disk in the drive please insert a disk
into drive D
I can only get this message to stop showing when i go to system
configuration utility and under the start up tab and deselect qttask, which
only works temporarily. How can i fix the problem permantly?

One thing to try...
Locate QTTASK.EXE with Windows search tool, and rename it to QTTASK.BAK.
If that creates a problem, or doesn't solve your issue, revert to the
original extension.

or scratch Quicktime altogether and install Quicktime Alternative!
