QFE Installer tool

I am trying to install Component 842930 but get the following error:

Failed copying file 328310_sysmain.sdb to the QFE repository directory.
Repository directory {41B0394B-74D8-4CFD-86C0-BDCE45CE4728} does not exist.

Setup cannot continue.

I have SP2 with my Database and repository on the same server. I have
permissions for the repository and am able to map to the repository and can
create a folder there. The Repository is at \Windows Embedded
Data\Reopositories. I have installed all the SP2 QFE updates.

Any help at all is much appreciated!

The actual component itself has no files it brings in and thus no real need
for a repository dependancy. It simply includes components that already
exist in your database. Extract the component from the QFE file using
windows explorer and import the SLD directly.

I am able to open Q842930_xpe_sp2_x86_enu.exe with WinZip. There is an
instruction file that says you should execute the file on a machine with Win
XP tools installed. It goes on to say it includes updated and new .sld files
and that it will create a new repository to hold all future QFE binaries. If
I import the all the .sld files, (it includes 3 of them) won't I still need
to create the new repository?

Extract the SLDs. Open them in Component Designer. Find the one with the
QFE Installer tool. Import just that one SLD.

Thanks for the replies. I am trying to install QFE 842930 which is needed
before you install the Installer tool. That is what I am having trouble
with. I'm sorry if I mislead you with the subject of my post. The SLDs
contained in QFE 842930 are all hotfixes.
