[Q] Outlook 2007 - Multiple email accounts....

D

G'Day,

I have multiple email accounts set up with individual signatures. So
far so good. And when I am located in the tree for the particular
account and prepare to do a new message (CTRL-N) then I see my message
with the appropriate signature. However the account that is going to
*send* the message is always the default account. I want this to be the
account that I created the message for (ie as per the signature
retrieved). Having to remember to change accounts before sending is
error prone and tedious. Is there a configuration setting I have missed
somewhere?

All help and suggestions greatly appreciated.

No, sending a new message is always with the default account. Note that you
can link signatures to accounts so instead of selecting a signature, select
you account account instead and it will automatically insert the correct
signature.

Roady,

Hmmm. Thanks for that. Having to select an account *each time* I send a
message does not seem like ease of use to me. Seems like this is
another reason to use Thunderbird (Which selects the account based on
where you are in the tree)
