I cannot organize messages in my drafts folder according to date. The date
line in the folder says "none". Can you tell me how to put dates on draft
messages?
thanks,

Use the Field Chooser and add either Created or Modified from All Mail
Fields, depending on what you'd rather see, the date the original draft was
created, or the date it was last saved.

Thanks f.h. for responding but I don't know what you are talking about. What
is the Field Chooser and where do I find it. It is certainly not obvious
anywhere on my "ribbon". Maybe I have a different version?

First, this helps show why it is always important to specify what version
you're running. Even here, where you suggest we might be running different
versions, you don't actually say what version you're running so as to allow
me to say 'Yes, we are running different versions.'

Now, since you said 'ribbon', I'm going to assume you're running 2k7.

There are two options:
First option, if you are ok with the Reading Pane being at the bottom or off
(Reading pane is, iirc, folder specific):
1) Switch the Reading Pane to bottom or turn it off from View - Reading
Pane
2) Right click the headers bar and select Field Chooser.
3) Drop the list down and select All Mail Fields
4) Drag either Created or Modified (again, depending on what you would
rather see) to the header row.

Second option, if you need the Reading Pane on the Right:
1) Right click where it says Arranged By: and select Custom
2) Click Sort
3) For Select available fields from, select All Mail Fields
4) For Sort Items by, select either Created or Modified (again, depending
on what you would rather see). (or, alternatively, create a new view that
shows you the data just how you want)

Thank you so much. That worked. I learned a lot about Outlook 07 in just
doing that simple procedure. rm
