put exif date and time stamp on bottom of picture ?

Is there any freeware which will get the exif date/time of a picture and
physically stamp it at the bottom of a photo. Ability to choose font
size/colour and location of stamp would be great, also batch processing of
loads of pics would be good.

Preferably a stand alone program, but anything that will do this would be
great. Can PSP8 do it (as i already have that). Can the batch script be
used, if so, how ? (NOVICE !!)

Cheers

MyAlbum can do this and a lot more for you.
It's under Alt+F11, the 'stamp' option.
Make sure you hav set up the album to import EXIF info before you load the
pictures.

Hi Andy,

Not using EXIF, but file creation date (on the camera), batch
processing capabilities, single file and selected files, predefined
postions of the branding, as well as free position, free choice of the
font and color used. Finally: Stand alone app (167 K): Photo Dater by
Jason Specht, available at: http://www.holly.cc/jason/photodater.html

I use this one myself, and it is a great li'll program!

Use IrfanView newest version 3.92:

t-Rename>
<http://www.irfanview.com/>
Also download and install All Plugins.

*How to timestamp .jpg files with exif date time using IrfanView:*

Start IrfanView

Menu: File\Batch Conversion/Rename

In the new dialog "Batch conversion"
Check "Use advanced options"
Click button "Set advanced options"

In the new dialog "Set for all images:"
Check "Add overlay text"
Click button "Settings"

In the new dialog "Add overlay text to image"
Click button "Help"

In the new dialog "IrfanView Help"

Look for your preferred Exif code,
e.g. "$E306" for DateTime
(to get the date from the exif info, not the
timestamp of the file)

Close the Help Window

In the old dialog "Add overlay text to image"
Write the exif code "$E306" in the "Text" edit area
Press OK to close window

In the Old dialog "Set for all images:"
Press OK to close window

In the Old dialog "Batch conversion"
Select the .jpg files you want timestamps on and use
button "Add" or "Add all" to fill list "Input Files"

and start timestamping by
Click Button "Start"

_This will timestamp your pictures with ExifTime date and time_

jdatestamp.... commandline

search for them using google.com
