put a "QUIT" button/hyperlink???

I know how to add hyperlinks to my powerpoint, but I need to add one that,
when clicked, automatically exits the slideshow. I'm also not sure how to
save the powerpoint like a "read-only" file.......I want people to be able to
open it and ONLY see the slideshow format, and I need to put a "quit" button
at the end, so they can click there to exit.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Kweldon77,
Save your presentation as a pps, PowerPoint show. Then people will see the
show immediately upon clicking. Also read this:

As to the button, do the following, click on the AutoShapes button on the
drawing toolbar, choose action buttons, click on one and drag on your last
slide, in the following dialog click next to hyperlink to choose end show.

To open into the slide show immediately, click File > Save As.
Under Save as type, click on the dropdown field, then scroll down and look
for PowerPoint Show (.pps).

As for exiting the slide show, you can add an action button, then under
Hyperlink to, click on the dropdown field and select End Show.

Is that what you want?
