purchased used computer compaq presario, user had boot leg
XP I purchased XP upgrade today. Computer sends messages:
This copy of Windows must be activated with Microsoft
before log on.

Problem with accurately checking license for computer.
Error message #Ox80004005

With a fradulant copy of xp on the computer,how do you expect
xp home "upgrade" to be activated.To use upgrade xp searches for
a previous copy of any windows operating systems,w/o one you cant
install upgrade.If youre determined to try,insert xp cd,boot to cd (might
need to adjust this in the BIOS),then select install xp,new copy.
