Publishing problem

Guest

I am trying to publish my site (www.rapidtables.com) to the GoDaddy's server,
with FrontPage 2003.
When I use FTP publishing, the site transfer is done partially, but halted
in the middle.
GoDaddy's support reccomended that I will install FrontPage server extensions.
I installed the FrontPage server extensions, but now I can't login!
When I try to login to (http://www.rapidtables.com), the login fails.
The GoDaddy's support said that the problem should be in FrontPage...

We see these type of GoDaddy's issues constantly in this newsgroup. If they
are unable to support you, you might be better off finding a new host.

A host telling you to use frontpage - that's unusual isn't it? Normally
they say steer clear and they can't (or won't) help)!!

"hosing" is right!....thats what GoDaddy does the best.

Your website does NOT have the extensions installed inspite of what they
toldya.

http://www.rapidtables.com/_vti_inf.html should return a page telling you
that the extensions are there, it does not.

| The hosing is done with Linux server.

Thanks,
But this is not the problem - I just uninstalled and installed again the
server extensions... it should be up again in several minuets.
How can I verify that the extensions are from 2002?

View the source code on the page Rob gave you. It shows 5.0.2.4803 which
are the FP 2002 Extensions.

However, the version number indicates that not all the Microsoft updates
have been applied on the server.

Disregard the part about updates. I forgot you're on a Linux server. I was
comparing to the Windows version of extensions.
