Publish PPT presentation that includes flash movie to web

I am a teacher whose students created some stunning PPT presentations. All
of them include a short Macromedia Flash movie. We got the flash to work
great in PPT. Now I'd like to put them on the web for their parents to see.
I have FlashPaper at school (not a Microsoft product I'm afraid!) But that
creates a pretty bland file with none of the transitions or the flash movie.

If I use the PPT "save as a web page" feature, will the flash movies work on
the web? I'm at home and don't have one to try right now. Is there a better
way to do it?

thanks!

Hi,

It can be done, but to work, you need to upload the file and the Flash
content, plus the audience needs to have a valid player. Commercial
solutions will provide for this occurrence by ensuring the page will go
looking for a player if one is not found. Have a look at this, and you can
also search the faq for commercial applications. I personally haven't tried
many.

You can not put your powerpoint to website with flash directly.
You may convert to your ppt or pps to a flash and embed the flash to your
website.
This is the best way for u.
In this way you can preserve the animations and the transitions of your
powerpoint.
and in this process you can insert any flash to your presentation when
converting

You have two options
1. Save the presentation as a html page
PowerPoint has a native feature to enable you to save a presentation
as a webpage. This
feature works better for a simple PPT file.
Saving a powerpoint presentation directly as a webpage may be
troublesome if you have a complicated presentation.
It may not be played correctly in a web browser.

2. Convert PowerPoint to flash and then insert it to a webpage.
See this example: It is a flash presentation inserted in a weg page.

To convert powerpoint to flash -
If you have programming experiences, you can do the conversion
manually.
See this tutorial

Or you can use some commercial converters like PPT2Flash Standard
