Public folder permissions not inherited when copying a mail folder

Hi,

Client: Outlook 2003 SP1 on XP SP2
Server: Exchange Server 2003 SP1

When copying a folder from a mailbox in Outlook 2003 to a public folder
(using drag and drop), the new folder does not inherit the permissions of the
parent public folder. Is this by design? Is there a way to make the new
folder inherit the parent's permissions? Many thanks.

regards,
Antonio

You could use the File | FOlder | COpy Folder Design command to copy permissions.
