Public Desktop Folder Problems

On about half the PC's with Vista Business, the Public Desktop folder is
missing. I try to create it in the Public User ID and it says it's there.
What's up with this? The last PC I worked on I could never get it right.
Many of our PC's are shared and this folder is very important. How can it
come and go like this? All the accounts on the PC are Admin level. I can
sign on one account and see the folder but when I try dragging a shortcut to
it says it can't create a shortcut. I sign on another account and it will
not display. Some of our PC's don't ever have a problem like this. It's
very frustrating. Diane

I solved the problem. By default it's hidden. Some of the users I would
set the Folder Options to show hidden folders, some not. I removed the
hidden attribute so this will no longer be a problem. I don't know why MS
made this the only folder in Public to be hidden. Diane
