Hello,
Please help!! I recently updated my OS from windows 2000 to windows XP,
still using office 2003.before the reload my I saved my PST to a cd, now that
I reloaded the laptop I get an error that says ".pst file is not a personal
folders file" whenever I try to open it. I have checked and tryed everything
I could think of but outlook 2003 does not recognize it as a pst file. The
really strange thing is that i was using outlook 2003 before as well, so I
can't explain this problem, it is driving me madd. Please help!

When you copied the PST file off of the CD, did you uncheck the Read-only
attribute from the PST's file properties?

This is usually a sign that the PST was corrupted irretrievably in the copy
process. Was Outlook closed when you burned it to the CD?
