hi

im looking to buy a 19inch tft
my budget is £150
although could spend more if people feel its necessary
my tower is black so i feel a black one would be best suited....

i have a ti4200 on this particular machine
which has DVI so its an option

I have recently got a tv card and thats why im looking for a 19inch tft
the options so far:

1. http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatalog/Online_Catalogue_This_Week_Only_25.html#aMO_2d005_2dBE

its the 19inch belinea one

2. http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B000CCB0OG/202-6277082-7123826?v=hotukdeals-21&n=560798
ive got the 17inch version
pretty impressed

what do you think?
do u have any other in mind?

This one has DVI input for £155.00. But add postage and maybe the cost of a DVI cable and it takes you over budget.

My Mum has a Benq 17" monitor, it's good.

Out of the two you've listed, I'd go for the Belinea. One thing about these 'widescreen 19"' monitors though, the actual height of the screen won't be the same as a conventional square 19" monitor, cos the 19" is measured on the diagonal.

Think about it :)

I was going to recommend Samsung or Philips, great monitors, but they're out of your price range.

I would never, ever recommend Sony after their audio rootkit/bad laptop batteries/delayed PSP3 launch but at Komplett there's actually a 19" Sony TFT for about £160.00. There's just one in stock at time of writing, I figure it may actually be a mistake, lol, cos Sony monitors are expensive. It has a 5ms response time.

thanks with that BenQ the total including p and p would be £161.76
i think its ridiculous for a charge of £6.75 for p and p!

at this time of writing I just found the sony screen you were on about though
did seem like a great price and it looks v nice!
I have seen other Sony screens around about that price
I guess I could fork out an extra score at the max should it really be worth it

thanks about mentioning the point about the "widescreen" option

Samsung are good.

That's a fair price.

I'd certainly consider it.

Nowt special, but fair price and a good brand of Monitor :)

Of course, it is from e-buyer, so prepare for a voyage of uncertainty
