"Rather excitingly, the quality of emulation is rather good, too. As you can see in the video above, the PS4's PS2 emulator is running at a much higher resolution than the original PS2. Original PS2 titles usually output at a native resolution of either 512×448 or 640×448. The emulated PS2 games on the PS4, though, appear to have a native resolution of 1292×896, and then a final pillarboxing and upscaling to 1080p. The total pixel count is around 4× the original."

That's pretty cool :) Here's the video if anyone is interested:

It's such a shame that they don't make consoles backwards compatible nowadays!

I'd really like to play some of the older MGS games, so this may be my route in :D.

Ah I didn't realise that! We've got a PS4 so not familiar with the XB.

Its literally just happened. The new dash was out earlier this month - a couple of weeks ago. But preview members (beta) had it for a month or so before that. :)

I've not tried it yet, I chopped in all my old 360 games along with the console not long after I got the XB1.

Yeah I did mention this a while ago. Quite restricted as to what is available at present. If memory serves me well it is only 104 games?
