PS/2 device problems

Well, the PS/2 mouse and keyboard on my parents comp are not working. I have
tried many solutions and I can't seem to fix it. I am currently using a USB
keyboard and USB mouse on my parents comp.

Oh, and I built my parent's comp from scratch, the mobo is a Gigabyte
GA-8I945PL-G if that helps anyone.

If you have swapped the ps/2 mouse and keyboard for other, known-working
ps/2 mouse and keyboard and the test devices don't work, then you know the
ps/2 ports on the motherboard are faulty. Either continue with your
workaround of using usb devices or replace the motherboard. If the
motherboard is still under warranty, RMA it.
