Protect word containing a subscript

One of my users has many equations in a document, however, when using
subscripts, Word will sometimes use the wrong wrapping. For example, she has
C2 (with the 2 being subscript) at the end of a line, and it splits it
between the C and the 2.
Is there anyway to stop Word from doing this

Hi Jeannie,

You need to make sure there's no space between the C & 2 or, if you must have one, to use a non-breaking space (via Ctrl-Shift-Sp).
