Programs not responding, even to shutdown or task termination

Greetings,

At times I have programs that will not responds to shutdown, or even when
you choose to close the program, it will still runs in the background, even
Task Manager are not allowed to terminate it. I can't even shutdown the
system properly. Any Idea?

What programs are they? Have you tried contacting their support?

It can be any program, like Winamp, Adobe Photoshop, and many others, after
using, at times, they just refuse to terminate. Even I use the task manager
to end task. This also happen to my Internet Explorer at times too...
