Programs missing from start menu

I reinstalled XP Pro after experiencing a horrible anomoly known as Windows
Vista (grrr). I have all of my programs installed, they are available in
explorer, but they're not showing up in start>programs. There are some
things there, but a lot of accesories, etc are missing too. Anyone have
ideas on how to get them back?

They are actually shortcuts. You can add your own by r-clicking Start and
clicking Open All Users. Then r-click the Programs folder and click Explore.
You can now create or drag shortcuts to this folder that will show up on the
All Programs menu.
