How do you add a program to the Programs list under Internet Options? I want
to add Frontpage as the default HTML editor but it lists other programs. I
know where that list is in the registry but dont know how to add it.

Well, "Microsoft Frontpage" will be added automatically to the list when
installing, usually. To add this application manually, is not that easy.
The preferred program can be found in this registry key:

HKCUSER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Default HTML Editor

However, the subkeys fill up with additional information provided by
the application (eg. the program's installation path and applicable
DDE commands). In order to get full instructions, you may want to ask

Untick, restart FrontPage and tick again. If this doesn't help, contact
the group as already specified since not a Windows issue.

Well I totally reinstalled it and now its listed and was choosable. Now if I
could just eliminate Eudora from coming as the default Email in that list
even though Thunderbird is checked as the default in its options and I can
find no such option in Eudora. I quit using Eudora as I would find mail in
strange directorys where it shouldnt have went to. Maybe I need to totally
uninstall it. You can ckicj Thunderbird in the Program Options but next
time you look Eudora is back in the box. Oh well :)

Well, if I were you, I would uninstall "Eudora" since it's very likely
that this application is responsible for resetting as the default Email
program. Unless the uninstall routine is poorly programmed, it should
remove "Eudora" from that list as well. Removing manually under the key
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Clients\Mail (if present as subkey)
does not make too much sense since "Eudora" may reappear the other day.

Well by accident I uninstalled it so while I was at it I put the newer
version in and now its showing in the editor list. End of problem not that
it was problem in the f irst place.
