Programme similar to SpyBot - Search and Destroy

Is there a freeware, similar to SpyBot, that can be run on computers
*without* installing it, and then used to remove all spyware found.

If running a programme without first installing it is not possible, then

What does installed mean? You mean putting entries in the registry?

There's a freeware version of x-cleaner that fits into one floppy and
just runs through one exe file.
