Program folders

From Start Menu, All folders, I have a list of over fifty
programs in one huge list. Most are pre-loads from Dell.
I want to reorganize these to reside in about ten or
twelve logical folders, such as "Utilities", "Multi-
Media", "Games", ...etc.

I know that I can assign programs to folders when I
install them, but I'm not too eager to reinstall all of
those Dell pre-loads and such.

THANKS!

That is very simple. Go to "Documents and Settings" (on
the partition where XP is installed) go to the user
account which the changes are needed for then Start
Menu\Programs and you can create or move files,
shortcuts, or folders. Then you should do the same for
the All Users account (btw, you can create a folder with
the same name both in All Users and in your account
folder (i.e. "Games"), and have different shortcuts in
them, but in Start menu\All Programs you will see
one "Games" folder with the content of both of folders).
You can also move shortcuts from All Users to your own
account, so that those shortcuts would be available for
you only (or the opposite).
:)
