program failure for new user

I have set up a new user on my home pc (not networked) but
some of the installed programs do not work in this profile
and I get error messages when attempting to run them, this
causes thy pc to create an error log every time, any help
would be appreciated, thanks

Some programs will not run properly under a regular user account.
You could try to add this user to the 'Administrators' group and see if the
app works.

If that doesn't work, what apps are failing and what does the event log
entry say?
